The Sound ExChange Project transforms the live concert experience and deepens the connection among performers, audiences, and music.

Hailed by the Rochester Business Journal as an ensemble that “turns the classical music concert on its head,” Sound ExChange is comprised of a flexible team of core artists who are dedicated to exploring alternative ways of presenting and creating music to invigorate the concert experience. Sound ExChange seeks to transform the live concert experience and deepen the connection among performers, audiences and music. The Rochester, NY-based ensemble was founded in 2011 by Eastman students who function in a variety of roles—as performers, composers, producers, curators, and educators.
