Molly Germer is a student of Charles Castleman and a core artist of the Sound ExChange Project.  In addition, she is a member of the Erie Philharmonic and a substitute for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.  She has served as concertmaster and principal second of Eastman Philharmonia and has performed  in several contemporary ensembles including Eastman Broadband, Musica Nova, and Ossia.  She has received fellowships at festivals such as the Bang on a Can Summer Festival, Chautauqua Orchestral Institute, and the Castelman Quartet Program, among others. 

Molly recently graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance.  During the 2014-15 academic year, she will be completing a study in collaborative arts through the University of Rochester as a recipient of the “Take Five” scholarship.
